Hello!

Why yes thank you I've been working out. Things have been going swimmingly out here in LA. Work is there and I'm doing all I can to make it happen when I can. Case in point.

That's a film called the Last Front I did. It's awesome! Please check it out and let me know what you think.

The thing that has REALLY kept me from doing ANYTHING lately, is that I've been producing... yes producing and acting in a short film that I did w/ my new company called, Bedbug Productions. We've been working on a short film that's in the Post Production phase and is nearing completion every moment. We've got more projects lined up and we're really feeling pretty good about everything we're doing... a trailer you ask?

Why sure.

You're welcome. So that's what's been going down lately. Hopefully when I can hire an assistant I can get more time to write blogs. He he....

Oh and a random note, the pic of me breathing fire was in a magazine called "Dwell" (Dec/Jan) apparently someone's home had it in it and they talked about it. So if you see a copy check it out.

Greetings EVERYONE! So Running Down West was pulled from the SoCal Indie fest which is cool... how ever it did manage to pull of Best of Show from The Accolade Film Awards. Click on Film then Click on Best of Shows. So go check that one out. It's cool... there's a clip on there as well... the film is being received really well which is wonderful! Other news... at the risk of being jinxed! I had three awesome auditions this week, was put on avail for one and got a call back for a short film and the third was today and went good. So it's all up in the air and waiting to fall or fly. All the best! PS pics are on the way.

So the blogging system I use has been updated so it's easier to put up pictures and what not so I'm going to do that very soon, but since I'm not ready to do that I'll just write about goings on. So first of all I've been working on the short film, Psychedelic Hamster. We've been shooting for about two weeks and it's been a blast with an amazing crew and cast. We've had a lot of fun and come up with a lot of great material to go along with the great script. I've got some production stills that I'll post up in the next few days. Needless to say they are pretty funny and will possibly need some explanation. Also the short film, Running Down West that I shot a while back has been accepted into the SoCal Independent Film Festival. I'm very excited for it'll be my first visit to a festival with this film. I can't wait. Why don't we ever talk anymore?

Well here's why. I work like a dog for two awesome places. I'm teaching karate to kids which is AWESOME. And of course I am logging at night which is also good. However that means I work a combined estimated approx. around together 15 hours a day. Woo! I work a lot in another words. Anyway let me give you the skinny, then maybe we can chew the fat... get it? Last I left you with that cliff hanger of apt searching and some auditions... I sadly didn't get that part, but I did get a very nice email from the dir, which is a rare thing for me coming from NYC. I did luckily get an apt. A very nice roomy apt that is AWESOME. It is in a good neighborhood in Hollywood. Near stuff, and far away from stuff... turns out you can't live next to everything. Life has been good... though I do get really tired of all the sun, I know I know, LA... sun they're like sisters... or brothers... siblings? Anyway I just would love a cloud. So to recap so far.... Jobs.... Apt.... clouds... got it? Good, moving on. Next I've teamed back up with an old director of mine, one Mr. Josh Dobson, director of "Running Down West." Which you can see some clips here . Of course I recommend you looking around his site and seeing what's going on with him, he's cool and talented. So he and I and one Michael T Vollman are shooting a series of short films as a sort of workshop thing. It's a great way to keep the tool sharp... and you never know what great ideas come to you and when. Yep. Other news... I just recently got cast in a film called "The Psychedelic Hamster." Directed by Greg Hirsh, we are going to production later this month. I'm really looking forward to doing it. Should be a lot of fun, the script is oh so delicious and the character I am playing is going to be... well, let's just say I haven't played one like him before. I'm excited. I'll do my best to keep better tabs on the career stuff going, so just in case I don't get a chance to get back to the computer for a while I will tell you that I am meeting with someone from a company called Act Now. They introduce actors and casting directors... it's the way of the world out here. It should be a good meeting.... and the beginning of something. Other little things around the world are going on. Had an audition today, it went well got a call back for it. Woot! Looking for apts in LA is less than fun, but my faithful and loyal roommate has narrowed it down to two places that I am looking forward to living in either of them... as long as their is a wall... or not... just a blanket... for Ginger and me.... Ginger of course has fur, so it's easier for her to sleep w/ out a blanket. Anyway.

Call back on Tues.... finger crossed ready go!

Terence McFarland is a brilliant man! Celeste Den is an amazing performer. All of the shows that were performed were awesome. I had green thumbs and lots of balloons. It was amazing... it's the kind of show that makes you remember why you do all this stuff in the first place.... not money or the audience... but for that feeling of taking nothing, just an idea putting it together and making something so amazing. Getting lights, costumes, and choreography and lines, and texture, and movement, and emotion and putting them all together to make something that effects people. I still hate bowing. But whatever it's fine. It's just an amazing experience to be on stage, and know the moment when something was done right and know the audience can feel it, done right... Anyway it was a great show, and hopefully we will be doing it again... I will keep you posted... but for now, sleep. Tomorrow is a free day...

Doing a play now....

SO the play is this great piece that's going to be put on at highways. It's part of a collection of shows called Trace. I'm working w/ the ever so talented Terence McFarland. And my co-star is an amazing lady by the name of Celeste Den. Needless to say it's going to be an amazing experience doing this show. It already sounds amazing and I haven't even touched the stage yet. Woot! Moving right along staying healthy with the exception of this never ending cold/allergies that I seem to be fighting all the time. But happy all the same. I'll post more as more comes. Rehearsal begins tomorrow...

Things are finally getting around to getting going. I landed a sweet "real" job. That of teaching karate to youngins. It's a really wonderful job and I feel truely blessed to have it. Also, my first audition w/ my wonderful new agent out here I got a call back... which doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot, but it does mean they want to see me again. Woot. A couple of indie film auditions as well... should be a wonderful an interesting time approaching. My new headshots are below... these are the final ones...the winners if you will... the photog was this really wonderful guy named Kevin... look him up if you're out west and need some head shots done.... Anyway... hope everyone is well... I may have a play coming up as well, but I'll keep you posted.

First thing I did in LA

So I took part of a play today in LA... I was just a walk on role (right wording?) in a play at the LA Shakespeare Theatre. It was cool. It was part of Suzen-Lori Parks 365 Plays. And I just played, well, President Bush and his father. It was a lot of fun. SO there that's done. I'm filming an audition for a film that's being shot by Dreamworks, but I can't really say more than that right now about it. It's a huge opportunity and let's just keep hope open right? Right. So I'm sorry that I've been crap about updating... I've been getting new headshots and getting Union things taken care of and well looking for something to use as money here in LA. So having said all of that. Life is just getting under way here and I expect nothing less than amazing things here in LA, and I'm sure it won't let me down. Just adjusting to all this warm weather where as back in NYC it's a balmy 40 something degrees... it was 90 today. I have the start of a tan... and I've been to the beach w/ less clothes than I've worn in a shower in NYC. SO ahoy LA here I am and ready for what you have to offer me... I'll update as it is needed...and maybe I'll post some headshots once they are approved by my approval people. AHem. Anyway.

ha! Made you think about where..I uh...went. So I moved. I moved to LA. Things have just been getting under way out here... no I can't say anything official yet. But I do have new headshots and the like. Once I sign some papers and things like that I'll tell you all about that when it happens. New headshots will be posted on the site in a week. Color... should be interesting. More updates to come, LA is wonderful my dog loves it out here... I'm learning all about it.

I love my job

So it's been a while since I've updated only because I'm working a lot of temp jobs to make some extra bank to help w/ the move West. However, I'm still auditioning for commercials on the side, I'm working on a Mastercard one today and I got a callback for a Krispy Kreme one yesterday... So things go well. I did some more recording for Poke'mon, always a pleasure. Other than that it's just packing at night and sleeping when I can, my poor dog (Ginger) doesn't understand why I have no time left for her at home and when I get home why am I so exhausted. She's coming around, and she's always happy to see me when she can see me. Anyway, life goes really well... and thanks for reading and keeping up with what's going on.

The play went splendidly thank you all for support and coming to see the play. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, I'm still full!!! Unless there's more pie? No...okay.

Onto the news... Life is going well... I've got to record the good ol' Poke'mon stuff on Tuesday woot! Then for the next couple of weeks I'm beginning to pack my life and head westward...

So Cali here I come... I've got a meeting w/ my new rep out there which I will tell you all about once it's a done deal...

So expect a somber, tearful leaving NYC entry the next time.

night before opening night

The show opens tomorrow... it's always fun the night before... I had a terrible rehearsal today... I always do... the day before is always poo poo....but whatever... it'll be fine... my co-star of my scene and i are ready and it'll be grand. So other than that...the Food Network audition I had the other day went well... but as always we'll see...ANyway I'm off to sleepy land hoping that tomorrow rocks people's socks....

Rehearsal Goes Well

Left/Left\Left opens this weekend... and closes, so that's wonderful I cannot wait. I'm really looking forward to showing this character to people, he's fun... I told one of the director's, "You just want to hug him after he gives you his mixed tape he made for you." This week has been plentyful in work, I went out to Somerset, NJ and did some dubbing for a Turkish Television show, with the ever so talented Tom Wayland (director). He's also someone I am working with on Poke'mon. Then of course lots and lots of rehearsal....

Today I have an audition for the Food Network, so that'll be fun....

Also in the near future I'm preparing for my move, I'll have more details on that as they come as for right now, let's just say life is looking pretty hectic ahead, but just because it's hard doesn't stop me from having fun doing it.

So this week was kind of long what w/ the birthday and Halloween, I went as Ziggy Stardust... it was fun. So, I had an audition for a short film that went decently well. And a VO for Channel 1 and Time Warner Commercial all this week. So it was kind of exhausting running all over the city. Not to mention I started rehearsals for Left/Left\Left last night. Let me tell you that I am super excited about this play. I think it is a very interesting concept... and if you want to know what the concept it you should come see it. You can get tickets by clicking tickets....The festivals official website... and that's about it. The cast is awesome, the production is going to be killer, and the directors know their stuff... it'll be a great show. I hope you can come out and see it... if not I better get your good vibes thru the cosmos...

Acting on the fly

So it's yesterday (10/28) and I am sitting reading my emails, which I LOVE to do... and I get this email from a person I haven't spoken to in quite a while. She tells me there is a play (Left/Left\Left) being cast... So Ii email the director to tell her I am interested after reading thru the script a bit... she sends me some sides and I start reading them. Later in the day she calls and wants to know if I can come in on Sunday (10/29) and audition, I could not as for it was going to be a busy day for me today what with work and all. So I ask if there is another time, she's says she'll see what she can do for me. She calls back and asks what I am doing at 6 o'clock.... I say going to your audition I guess. So working with the sides for a matter of 3 hours I go and I do really well with it I feel. It was strange the character was from Alabama too... which is funny because she didn't know I was from there. Anyway, she's finishing up her auditions today, so keep your fingers crossed and i will post a yea or nay on here... to let you know how it went.

Other news:

Poke'mon emailed me to tell me that they are going to start scheduling me for once a month recordings, like a day or two...which is GREAT!

So that's the news I got right now, the Microsoft pics may be up now I dunno, I think the one I am in is only in Magazines... I know the promo is running on the net already, but hopefully I can get a copy and put it on my site.
